I have a need to connect a PCMCIA Modem, housed in a card host pro PCMCIA card adapter, to the AUX port on a 2611.

The Card host pro adapter has a 9 Way D-type female connector.

I would like to know if anyone has managed to get this sort on config working.

I have managed to use the modem connector (25 Way d-type) and a rollover cable to get a modem working via the AUX port.

Thanks in advance

Keep in mind that the aux port has a max throughput of 9600 baud. You need an async serial port to get anything faster.
