PCMCIA Modem Installation (upside down?)

Is there any way to make sure that the PCMCIA modem card is not installed upside down on a Think Pad 760EL notebook? It looks like it would slide in either way.

You should not be able to slide it in all the way when it is upside down - there are guides on the sides of the card to prevent this.
