PCL and Postscript in Actuate Report

Does anyone know if it is possible to embed PCL or Postscript into
actuate reports so the printer settings can be changed at different
pages of the report.

Even I need to embedd some PSL commands in the RPT for printing.

No we had no success. We ended up printing the report to a postscript file then writing a utility in C to find and replace some characters we had inserted in the report.

The characters were replaced with postscript commands to change printer bins.

Hi john,
Actually even I am looking for someway I can change the Bins.

I want to change the Bins for a Xerox Docuprint 4635 Printer. It uses the MediaColor Property to manipulate the Bins.

I will be greatful to u if you could help me out and provide me with the details of how u managed to do handle this. And please let me know If you can share your piece of C Code which does the manipulation of the psl file...

Hi John,

can u please help me out with Printing the Crystal Report to a file automatically.

currently I have configured the printer to Print to the File Port. But everytime I print it will ask for a file name.

How can i automatically specify the filename so that the driver doesn't prompt the user for a filename?
