Have used pcAnywhere for years and have never had any problems. Now, trying to dial-up to a W2K system. The A-Open modem is installed and queries ok, and I can successfully connect to another computer from the subject computer. When trying to connect with this PC as the host, the modem answers but there is no connection. I do notice that the 2-network cards and the modem all have IRQ11 automatically assigned to them. Am I missing something here with W2K? I can't change the IRQs (grayed out). Could this be my problem? I have tried installing the cards in different slots and re-installing...but same thing with the IRQ settings. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
