I am trying to setup a pcAnywhere Gateway for the first time. My client has a requirement to initiate a pcAnywhere call from a PC which is linked via a network to another PC which has the modem. The machine with the modem needs to then dial a phone number to call a third PC. I can get this to work as long as I feed the phone number in manually, however, I would like to preset the phone number in pcAnywhere. It would appear that as soon as you select a protocol like IPX you lose the ability to enter a phone number in the Remote modem icon properties.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem ?
