Yes that is about right for programming a PCA. You don't need to have "CFXA" enabled. It may be wise to set up a "SCPW" if you need to use the PCA ffc remote call forward feature & your SCR is also a unique number, Otherwise you can use the "SCPW" that assigned to your main DN.
Hi All,
I'm trying to work on PCA, and I get the following error message when i try and create my PCA TN, at the last prompt after I hit enter:
=============
SCH1463
PCA ISM exhausted / insufficient
Severity: Minor

I have PCA pkg 398; but my LD11 header says:
=============
MEM AVAIL: (U/P): 22957985 USED U P: 5033744 565579 TOT: 28557308
DISK SPACE NEEDED: 968 KBYTES

Let me guess - do I have to buy ISMs for this feature as well as the package? TIA! -Matt
Yes you will need revised keycodes to give you the required number of PCA units. Go to LD 22 & KEY IN "ISM".
Look at the bottom for the "PCA" used & available parameters.
PCA = Personal Call Attendant. It lets you give out 1 DN and when called, it will ring multiple DNs (or even external numbers over supervised trunks) and connects the call to whatever station answers first. Has some other features too. New in S3.0. -Matt
thanks for that, have you looked into group call, not exactly the same, close, a mcr on key 2 calls all stations with the mcr key and connects to the 1st answering station, don't think you can include a remote number, even with cfxa. cost is strange, new keycodes from nortel are not cheap, then the vendor has to get their cut, plus location will cause price to vary...
