Hi guys,
hope this is the right place for this thread..

I have a compaq Armada laptop running NT-workstation4.
Recently it has started to turn off when i plug out the cable. In fact it wont even start up until I plug it into the mains. Is this simply a problem with the battery or more serious than that?
Hope u can help!

thanks

a faulty battry can be a prob if it is totally gone try another battry once i had to face a similar prob in a client's laptop and it was due to the charging unit not charging the battry at all so better check these two aspects
