I have a PC which is an old P133 with 16M RAM and running windows 95. It runs really slowly and seems to chug constantly. This may seem like a silly question but would simply adding more memory solve my problems or is there anything more I can do.

I would like to pass the PC onto my parents but it would be no good to anyone as it is. It is basically a great PC but mega slow.

Any info gratefully received.

64 meg of RAM would REALLY help that machine.
I have a 133 on a VX board, and going from it's original 16 to 64 meg, sped it up considerably.
I've been running 98 on it now for over 6 months, something it would never do with only 16 meg. Cheers,
Jim
