Looking to upgrade our back office PC since it is currently running WIN XP.
Have Aloha TableService 6.2.15.

Will my current version run on a Windows 7 Pro 64Bit PC (I will be building my self) or do I need to upgrade to a newer version of Aloha as I begin updating my BOH?

Also can someone shoot me the recommended Hardware for Aloha (specifically my current version, and the most current)
Thanks,

Aaron [americanflag]

Thanks for the FAQ AlohaRoss, to my next question,
My FOH terminals are all POSReady2009 machines(4 Total), Putting a back office PC with WIN 7 with the exception of some Network property tweaking to get everything "talking" properly, Are there any compatibility issues with WIN 7 as a BOH and my FOH are POSReady2009 V2.0 SP3?

Thanks,

Aaron

Haha a Gig you say all mine are listed .99GB ^_^

Yet another question. Trying to Find actual software for POSready2009, doing some quick research ( points me in the direction of getting Microsoft Windows Embedded, is that an actual OS platform that MS releases? If so How can I go about finding a hard copy?

Is it OK to load POSReady2009 on a PC that originally had XP Pro license on it? A developer told me that the EULA from Microsoft prohibits that after 2-1-14, despite the fact that you purchased POSReady2009, it's a gray area if you can "legally" replace a desktop OS with an embedded OS...

Any validation to this?
