pc freezes

I rebuilt a pc with the following:
Asus Mother board
dual proc. 866 pentium 3
Ide 40gb 7200 hd seagate
scsi three 45g 7200 hd seagate striped.
OS is server 2000 service pack 2

My problem is on occasion the pc freezes up in the middle of internet downloads or network file moving. When this happens I have to reboot. I checked my jumper setting for the proccessors and sure they are ok. Any suggestions!
