I have a problem, that I can't seem to figure out. At times, when I put my Pocket PC on the cradle (it's an SX66), the PC Freezes. The hard drive light goes solid, and everything freezes but the mouse...and then after about a minute the mouse freezes. Taking the PPC off the cradle has no effect. I have to hold the power button down and do a hard reboot to get it back. No error messages. This did not happen before I did a re-format and re-install of XP Pro a while back. I've had some issues with using more than one hard drive in this system (it's an ATI Crossfire motherboard), and so I think it may be a problem with this motherboard. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to hear them.

I'd start by looking in the event log, see whether there's anything in the Application or Sysem logs. Failing that, start task manager before you put the PPC in the cradle, go to the Proceses tab and click the head of the CPU column so that processes are sorted in order of CPU usage. If you're lucky Task Manager may keep running when the system locks up and you may be able to see which process is hogging the CPU.

I've checked the Event Logs. I'll try what you suggest, but I don't believe this a process lock. This is much more solid. Like the board is locked itself.
