PC Display on TV

Have any of you ran your PC display out to a tv through the S-Video out on your computer or a scan converter? What have you done about the lines in the televsion and the bad color? Know any fixes for this?

I often monitor what's happening via my NTSC monitor. The resolution isn't equal to my desktop monitor, but it allows me to see the difference between my development environment and what it'll eventually look like to Joe User.
