I am having a problem with all three of the PC Console. The operators are getting 6-8 seconds on answering a call. I have observed them at picking up the phone on the first ring yet CMS say that the call rang for 6-8 seconds before the operator could hear the first ring. This happens on every call.
I have several backup operators that are using 6416d phones and they are getting a 2-3 second ring time.

Could there be a delay in the PC Console that is causing this? The PCs were upgraded to P4 with 256 ram about 3 months ago.

Does anyone else have or seen this problem before?

Where are you measuring the ring time from and is it universal across both hard handsets and your PC consoles. Do remember if you are say measuring ring time on a vdn and then comparing this to ring time on a split report these will be different as the measurement interval is different

Phil

As you mention you can see reports in CMS I assume you use vectoring for this.

If so, check the vector if there's a step which says: "wait xx seconds hearing ringback".

Change the xx and see what it does.

I am looking at a CMS Agent group report. This way I can see all of the agents at the same time.
