Sounds daft, but i have a pci firewire card from a pc. will it fit into a g5 tower motherboard? and if so do i need drivers?

PCI is PCI. The critical problem is drivers, which you will certainly need.

Ok the hard and fast answer, is pull it out of the PC, and stick it in the G5. The fire wire card works like a dream- no drivers no nothing!

There is ALWAYS a driver for every card, it MAY be included in the OS.
