PC Administration direct connection - Rel 7 ACS

Hi DJTelco,
You are connecting to the Admin port, not the ethernet port (reserved for future use). The Admin port is an RS-232 type.
Most of us use the Avaya 355A adapter and a straight through CAT-5 cable or the cable from an MLX series Legend / Magix phone. There is a pinout posted if you do a search. It's easier to just buy the adapter.
