Hi,
i have a CS1000M SG with X21 4.5 and CPPIV installed.

For some weird reason the machine sometimes changes the time 12 hours forward.

e.g. Time stamp shows 10:45:00 AM and the next timestamp then is 11:00:00 PM ??

It seems that the problem only appeares when CPU1 is active. So i believe the CPU is bad.

Anyone of you ever had a similar problem or any ideas what is the reason??

Thanks and regards from Switzerland,
Mike

but if this would be caused by the adjustment, the jump should be every day in the midnight routine.

would you prefer to delete the adjustment to see if it happens again without it??

you suspected CPU 1. If you go back to CPU 0 does the time stay at 12 hours off or does it return to the correct time? I dont have CS1000M, is this still getting timing from T-1/PRI or are you getting it from network server? If so is it possible to be getting time from 2 different servers one for CPU 0 and one for CPU 1???

yah your right it shouldnt effect it that much. You could delete it but i dont think it will make a difference. Where are you getting your timing from??

i don`t have any external time sources. the network time sync isn`t available in rel 4.5

I will try to switch the CPU`s if it is happening the next time to see if the time will be corrected without stad
