pause character on a 3904?

Does anyone know if there's a pause character when entering an autodial number on the 3904??? I tried * - doesn't work...

it will work after the acod, but will not work after ac1 or ac2..

OK, what do I need to do to make it work?

You can do it. The character to be displayed is a vertical bar for 5sec delay. I forget how to insert it, but you may find it on the M3904 contextual key when beginning to enter the ADL.

When you enter the number through the Personal Directory, add new, it gives you a soft key labeled pause and iserts those "bars".

Does anyone know what length limit it has??? I was able to put in 24 characters...
