The Webswitch will support the Transport of ISO-GFP between 2 Endpoints.
The Webswitch does not change or modify or even attempt to decode the IOS-GFP it just passes it from the incoming E1/T1 through the 2 x Webswitches and straight out the other E1/T1.
In your situation mentioned above there should be no problems.
It is important to remember that when connecting any other system other than an MD110 you need to ensure certain things are done.
Like all Vendors, the MD110 is designed to support both Proprietary and Standards based Protocols as far as QSig is concerned.
By default the MD is setup to support Proprietary. When connecting via QSig to another Brand of PABX you need to ensure that you are setup to support Standards Based QSig IE ISO-GFP.
In order to do this the following needs to be done.
First of all for this to work you need to be running BC11 or BC12.
Next the following Parameters need to be set.
On the Dest ADC
D5=0 This indicates that the connected PABX is not an MD110.
D17=1 This indicates to use ISO-QSig for Call Back.
On the Route.
VARI
D1=1 or 5 This indicates support for GFP on the Route.
D4=4 This indicates that ISO-QSig to be used.
VARO
D1=1 This indicates to use IPNS on the Route.
Also Parnum 223 needs to be set to 7. This indicates that for Diversion, Transfer and Path Replacement you will be using ISO-GFP.
