patch to allow NT4 apps to run under w2k?

Hello all,
a couple of months ago I came across a patch that allowed you to run an application that "demanded" NT4 on a W2k box.
I believe that it fooled the app into thinking it was on a NT4 pc.
Unfortunatly I didnt download it at the time and now cant find it! Anyone know where I can find it?
