Password protected .pst file

I was moving buildings in work and my Pc was being moved.. Naturally I backedup most of my data incase of any damage. There are a number of .pst files form outlook that I have made, I try not to let each ont go over 100Mb. One of myearly files is protected with a password and you've guessed I've forgotten which password I've used. Is there any way to open the files in another app and get the password.. Or is there any way to extract it, without having to purchase expensive cracking software...
