We're having a hard time with windows 2000 password policy options. I've enabled the complex requirement for our domain and would like either to change compexity requirements or the error dialoge box wich pops up when you enter a non-conforming password.
The dialoge error box message line which explains password "must contain capitals numerals OR punctuation" is most confusing to clients and miss-leading. It dose not mention lower case letters. Clients would pick 2 out of the 3 options instead of the required 3 out of 4.
Is there a way to modify the dialoge error box or a ready made dll that we can pull from some book.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
