A few days ago my Domain Admin password was changed and everything has been fine until yesterday when it started to get locked out every few minutes.
I shutdown (powered off) every system that I was logged into and check the server manager resources under my second ("just in case"
account and couldn't find any PC/Server out there using my login.
Since this was on a weekend the only common link I could find for this scenario was the Tape Backup I was running on my SQL 2000 server under a bcakup account I have created.
I'm not a expert with the SQL stuff by no means but I was thinking I may have a database trying to use my domain authentication instead of the SA (???) password I have created before.
I did double check to make sure there were no services on the 2000 SQL server running under my name instead of the Local System account.
If anyone can shed some light I'll buy them a beer or something!!!
These are my domain's basic setup:
NT-4 Domain (1-PDC/3-BDC)
MS SQL 2000 running on a Win 2000 Server with IIS on it.
Thanks again in advance for any assistance!
