Password Help

Hi,

How can I see the password column in the Sysxlogin table on the master database? I see that they are encrypted by is there a way I can see them in regular ASCII? Thanks.

There is no way to see passwords using regular SQL tools. That would defeat the purpose of encryption and reduce security greatly. There may be hacks that would allow viewing of passwords but don't recommend undermining the security of systems. Terry L. Broadbent - DBA
