Password complexity in mixed mode question

Hi all,

We want use Microsoft solutions to implement complex passwords in our mixed mode environment. My question is if we enable password complexity group policy on our W2K DC's will this policy filter down to our NT BDC's, or will we have to enable strong password policy on the BDC's as well (by making registry changes and using passfilt - see MS 161990)?

We applied the complex password requirement on our Mixed-Mode domain and it worked w/o having to do anything to our BDCs.
