Password change notification questions

Hi all,

I have about 1500 users on an 03 do,ain that do not login to domain, only check mail through OWA. So they do not recieve the notification to change passowrd. this is becomming an IT nightmare, I am looking for a way to notify them through e-mail. Any Ideas woudl be appreciated? I see MS has a solution for 2000 using PEWA from resource kit but cannot find anything about this for 03 domain and 03 exchnage..
please help before the tropops come for my head..

Best way I can think of is to use vbscript in a scheduled task to run daily looking for passwords about to expire. You can then use CDO to send the user an email.

Are they getting prompted in OWA now, that there password is about to expire? If you have a trusted SSL certificate installed, they can change their password in OWA.

Hi,
thanks I will look at the script.
also they can change thier passwords from OWA but they do not get notification that it is about to expire? is there a way to notify them in advance through OWA? again most do NOT login to domian.

They should see a notification above the right pane that says it's going to expire, and that they need to change it OPTIONS. That's assuming that they are approaching the expiration period, and within the notification time.

And they are logging into the domain - when they login to OWA.
