Hello,
Looking for some help on the problem above. When the user is asked to change his password due to expiration, he goes through the proper procedure but at the end he gets the message that the change can not be performed because the domain is unavailable.
He has all the appropriate patches and service packs that Microsoft says to have to fix the problem in their Knowledge base. We have tried renaming the computer on the network but that did not work either. If we set a password in active directory it allows him to login fine, he is then on the domain, able to access e-mail and the internet just fine. However, this goes against our security policy of having the forced password changes.
If anyone knows of a fix to this problem it would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
