What is the syntax for passing a variable into a swf from the url string calling the parent html page. <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> doesn't seem to reach the swf. Is there something new I need to do?

Passing variables into flash

When you add the variables to the URL and load a page, the variables are communicated to the browser, not to the movie.<br> <br>In order to get the variables from the URL in Flash, you need to use the Load Variables statement. <br><br>Select a frame or symbol and double click on it. In the Actions tag add a Load/Unload Movie.
