I have a subreport that passes a variable to the main report details section. I have placed the subreport in details section a and my details in details section b. I am using Crystal Reports v10. My client wants the report in Excel format.

When I export my report to Excel, details section a is inserting extra lines throughout my report. Does anyone have a suggestion on hoe to hide/supress the extra line without losing my data from the subreport?

The extra line is likely the re4sult of your layout, meaning that you have additional space somewhere.

Shrink the subreport down to only the reuired size, and minimize each section within, and the section that houses the subreport.
