I am working with BOXI on an Oracle 10g database.

Is there a way to pass report parameters into a BusinessObjects Desktop Intelligence report from another (non-BO) application?

Background:
We are using Oracle's HTML DB as the user front-end but would like to use BO Desktop Intelligence reports as the reporting tool. Once the user makes certain selections in the HTML DB front-end, we can make those selections resolve into report parameters for running a BO Desktop Intelligence report. And we would like to have the report run with those parameters. Is there a way to pass those parameters in? Maybe through the URL, for instance?

Thanks

I am a new user of BusinessObjects. What's sdk? Software Development Kit for . . .???

You can pass parameters using the OpenDocument function. Take a look at busboj.forumtopics.com for details. Do a search there for opendocument*. XI's syntax is different, but you should find something.
