Passing parameters via url? cr 9.0

Running cr 9.0 using the crystal report viewer.

I can not seem to get the passing of parameters correct. I have a single param called report_type

I have tried the following

http://isiis1/kpi/webviewers/crysta...rver+9\Reports\VendorRatingMain.rpt?prompt0=1

http://isiis1/kpi/webviewers/crysta...s\VendorRatingMain.rpt?promptex-report_type=1

I do not get any errors, however it prompts me for the parameters in the clunky param page.

I also tried using the html param example but I could never get it to load the viewer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
