I know this post might be a little out of this forum, but you guys might know the answer anyway:

How do I set up pass-through queries in MS ACCESS?

I am having trouble getting anything to work with my pass-through queries... the SQL is right I think.. but I think my Connection String (starts ODBC;) is wrong.

I know the names of the servers and databases within the servers, i just keep getting that error message "odbc call failed".

I set up a system DSN, then go to SQL view for a query, right click on the window title, go to properites, then select the DSN there. If it works when you create it, it should work here, but you may need to make sure the password is available to it...
