is there any way to to login a BCM 400 if not knowing the password ?? mean after the welcome message we change the PlsChgMe! with other pass. and after rebooting it doesent accept the new pass. or the star one ?

try using one of the other logons ...

Prior to version 4 you could snake it via the W2K if you are savy enough , on version 4 Nortel took away the shell on Linux . SOL , only Nortel can get in .

On BCM50, you could reset to Lev 2 ( and lost EVERYTHING ) to regain default nnadmin password .

Did you chang both default passwords?

thanks to all of you, i just reset it 7 get back to the default.the system was new no information on it.
