Pass Data from Subform to Report

I understand the following:
[Forms]![my form name]![my field on teh form]

What if i'm trying to pass data from a subform, how do I do this? Does the sub-form have its own name?

Try this syntax:
[Forms]![my form name]![my subform name].Form![my field on the form]
