Once again I need a lil help.
Installed a msgng today assigned 6 mailboxes with out phones (exts 50,51,52,53,54) can access mailboxes internally (from iintercom) can't access from Auto Attendant, get "invalid extension" & reorder tone. Anyone have any ideas why?
VM ports are 42, 43, 44, & 45.
Want two of these boxes to be message only.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Jim

Is selector code 5 in the Auto Attendant set to Direct Extension Transfer (the 1st digit of an extension number)?

Hmmmm, isn't that default?? but also selector codes 1, 2, 3, &4 are direct ext transfer, and there's no trouble transfering to those exts. ... because they have phones maybe??
no selector codes were changed from default.

TTT thanks, sel code 5 is unused at default. set it to direct ext tran... works fine.
