Is there a program to create and modify partitions on the hard disk for os x?

I know you can use the apple disk utility to do this, but this wipes the hard disk, doesn't it? I'm looking for the mac equivalent of partition magic.

Cheers.

Yellow dog linux comes with the mac version of fdisk in the installer. You could boot to the linux install and change particular partitions, then quit after the partitioning step in the install. just an idea if all else fails. I guess my opinion is a little tainted by having a couple of these linux disks just lying around my house anyways. ;)
