Just partitioned a 200GB SATA HD using Windows XP while formating (bad idea I guess)and the total size dropped down to 127GB, I reformatted and deleted all partitions yet the 127 still remains. Any suggestions?

Thank's for the links...

I don't know if it has to do with the LBA cause it initially recognized the drive at full capacity (200GB).

The XP installation CD that I used didn't include a SP1, yet I installed SP2 right afterwards...unfortunately by then the damage was done.

Use drive mfg's utils and write "zero's" to this drive.

Now that you have SP2 installed with a 'zeroed' drive, this should complete correctly.
