Right now I'm currently low on HD space on drive C: and I was wondering would partition magic work with HW/Raid?

Thanks!

Not sure if Partition Magic will but Powerquest has a product called Server Magic that will probably work for you. A+ MCP

Or Drive Image (the cheaper version of PowerQuest's imagining software). I've had a nightmare or twelve with Partition Magic BTW and found that a new disk and DriveImage a much safer option.

If your disk is HW RAID Partition Magic probably isn't the answer anyway, because the RAID controller is doing it's thing in between the disk & the OS. Ian

"IF" is not a word it's a way of life

Thanks guys, I think I will check a few settings on the raid controller and see if I can resize that way. If not time to format =)

Hardware RAID presents a single drive to the BIOS and OS or multiple disks. Therefore PM should work fine on it.

If you have multiple disks configured as HW RAID which are seen in disk admin as a single disk which is then partitioned into C, D and so on and you could resize D for instance, then I would say you CAN us PM.

But back it up first!!!
