Partition Magic 8.01 Problem

I've been trying to reorganize my hard disk (master) with PM. I make the changes using the GUI interface, the program reboots my computer, xmnt2002.exe "starts" to execute (get about 5 periods) and then "zip".

I have to cold boot, and then press a key to abort the above process to get back into W2K. (I'm using SP4).

Any suggestions?

Hi,
Open windows:
Go to start run: type CHKDSK <drive letter:> /f
Reboot the machine and let the checkdisk run.
Try to resize the partition now.
