Hi,
Don't know the best way to describe this.
I have a table that has a field populated from a combobox.
The combo box selects engineers initials and there full name. Only the initials are stored.
A parametric query runs and returns a result and this is turned into a make query for mail merging to Word.
Can I set the criteria in the query field to return the full name so that when the make table is run it returns the engineers full name and not initials. This table is then used for a record set to update Custom word properties in the mail merge.
Can anyone help with a way to get the full name.
