Hello folks,
after a long period of frustration, the help of some people from the tek-tips Access community made me work out the question of writing queries dynamically and automatycally. This happened by means of the QUERYDEF object.

Now I was wondering whether anybody could give me an idea about how to do the same with charts:

do you know any way of modifying runtime the properties of a chart (aspect, mostly), working on an object instead of invoking the chart wizard?
Regards,

Giulio

Look up Chart Control Propeties in help.

Should be enough propeties to set you going.

Or use the MS Graph Library if you fell brave enough.

peachmelba, thanks for the suggestion, though through the Chart Control Propeties you can adjust the chart OPTIONS, not the chart TYPE itself.
Any suggestions for how to modify runtime the chart TYPE?
Thanks,

Giulio
