Hi!

I open an excel-member with shell32.dll. Because there are macros in this member, i get the question for activate or inactivate the macros. I want to use parameters that this question is answered automatically with "yes" because if the user will answer with no, the excel-member will not work.

Does anyone know the parameters for this?

Thank you
Thomas

Thomas,

Do you know that you're looking for a security exploit?
Some people do not take very kindly to mucking with their precious security settings.

Simply tell your users what you need them to do. Some may enable macros in general, the rest will know to let your application go.

You can reference excel and use the excel objects directly in VB. It's not so bad once you get used to it. Really!

Goto menu Project->References
Find the Microsoft Excel Object Library and check it's box.
Have fun!
