Parameter Report 1

I have a report that prints from a form/subform. At this time, the report asks for a date to identify which record to print. I'd like the report to automatically print the currently displayed record - in other words, pass a parameter from the current record to the report. How do I set the report to accept this parameter? I've only created reports that get parameters from user input.
I know this is simple, but something I've overlooked.

Rather than [Select Date:] which is how you are used to doing it,

Type

Forms!NameofForm!Field

e.g.

Forms!frmReports!txtDate
