Parameter in ActiveX viewer

I have two parameters with long picklist. When I run the report using DHTML on web, it works fine. But use ActiveX viewer, it can not load the parameter screen (no error, just freezes).

Could someone tell me why ActiveX viewer cann't launch parameter with long picklist ?

If you cut down the number of items in the pick list will the parameter dialog show up?

This will tell you if the issue is the length of the pick list or not.

Yes, If I cut down picklist, it will work. What is limit that ActiveX viewer can take? DHTML accepts the long list though.

Curious.. I have not heard of anything with the ActiveX, but there is something with the DHTML...

Could it be you have the viewers confused? The ActiveX will provide your parameter prompt in a seperate dialog window, not on the HTML page itself.
