Does anybody know when I have to stop using Paradox IF (and that's a BIG IF), I keep my operating systems up-to-date with microsoft. I've heard rumors that the Borland engine isn't going to work with the 64 bit operating system that is next. ???

I've only seen one report from a person who installed XP64 Alpha.

Paradox worked. I don't remember any details.

Remember that Bill Gates bought Connectix. So now he will sell you a Virtual PC to run legacy programs. How well, I don't know. I have used the Mac version. It is good if you have the horsepower to run it.

UM. I just posted earlier that it looks to me as if Corel has finally cut Paradox loose. A search for the product on the site brings up nothing.

It's still there under WordPerfect 12 Professional edition

Although I think it's only a matter of time, I'm trying to make the switch from Paradox to ??????, any suggestions????

I'm considering SqlServer and VB.net but my days just aren't that long.

You're right. I clicked on it and did not get Paradox. Maybe bad link? Good to know.

Thinking about Filemaker Pro. Or access, but as mentioned in another thread, there is an issue with a lot of binary data.
