Paradox 9 v Paradox 10

Can Anyone give me a comparison between Paradox version 9 and Paradox version 10....... and is it worth upgrading from Ver 9 to Ver 10 ???...... or any fair accessment of Version 10

The updgrade is worth it as far as I am concerned. Corel has smartened up the look and feel of the program and included in the box is the right to V10 runtime at no extra cost.

Personally speaking, I have had less crashes, GPF and so forth, and printing is faster.

One thing that I have not yet sorted is printing to laser labels, because now Avery and Zweckform are merged, their label sizes are not the same, so I always must use my own sizes to match the new sized labels.

I think also Corel have been integrating Paradox more into the suite so I am happy to have changed to the newest version. Steve Butterworth

Some more information on Paradox 10 would be nice. I am presently using P7, and considering upgrading. Is it worth the extra money? P7 seems to hang very easily and record locking is a real pain sometimes. I have just gone from P3.5 to P7 about 3 months ago, using a copy of P7 that was on a magazine cover disc! Hence no manuals etc. This I have found VERY difficult as all the forms, reports, scripts have had to be renewed - Thank goodness I didn't have to enter all the data.

Your comments on P10 inc ease of use, price, where it can be bought etc would be appreciated.

Its part of WP Suite 2002, the runtime is free as a download and it crashes a lot less. I am now using it with XP and with Win 98 and I would say it is worth every penny I paid for it. Steve Butterworth
