Paper Size on Printer

Hi,
We migrated to Microsoft Professional 2000. Our office uses dot matrix printers. When we print, the printer takes up the complete page, even though the printing matter is just 2-3 lines. Would like to restict the printing area, mean when we ask for 2-3 lines print, it should only print 2-3 lines and stopover after that. The printer should not roll over the complete page. The Content is generic text.
Any suggestions on how to restrict the page size on the printer.

i m using VISUAL FOXPRO 7 on windows 2000 and i want to set the custom page size

we are using a dotmatrix printer (EPSON LX/LQ) AND I WANT
A HALF PAGE REPORT (81/2x11 /2)

Custom paper sizes are supposed to be easy in Win 2000 - see MS Knowledge Based articles 157172, 129531, 313725 & 282474. Good luck, they didn't work for my Panasonic KX-P3200.
