I recently installed Fireworks 4 on a Win2000 Pro box.
The screen resolution is set at 1280 x 1024. Whenever I change to another application and then go back to Fireworks my Panels are all centered in the middle of my monitor. Resetting the Panel Layout will move most of the panels to their correct position (not all) and this also opens 2 panels that I do not normally have opened. I have tried the following:
Set: Commands - Panel Layout Sets
to 1280 x 1024 - same result-Panels centered on screen
to 1024 x 768 - same result-Panels centered on screen
Deleted the preferences file and restarted Fireworks:
same result-Panels centered on screen
Uninstalled and reinstalled Fireworks:
same result-Panels centered on screen
I previously had this same configuration for Fireworks on a Win95 box using the same monitor and screen resolution without any occurrence of the panels centering.
Anyone have an Idea about what the problem is?
There is nothing about this on Macromedia support.
