I friend recently recommended Panda antivirus software and said it was better than Norton. Anyone ever use it on Win2K server??? I have Norton corporate and am not happy with it.
I was in a similar situation to you. I asked Panda for a list of companies that run Panda. They gave me a list and half of the names on it say they don't like it and wouldn't recommend it.
One of the things I didn't like was that Panda didn't push updates to the clients. Definitions on the clients would be updated when logging in through scripts. I didn't like the idea having to have my users stop working to update.
With NAVCE I update the primary server and in a couple of minutes all the workstations are up to date.
Is there anything in particualar you are having problems with? =============

Very often NAVCE will not let me update. The icon in the tray gets a red stop sign over it and the program is not even working. I could not uninstall it. I reinstalled Win2K server and it worked for a few weeks and then it stopped again. It is very unpredictable. I have trouble configuring the workstations. I am running AD on the server. On my backup server, I got NAVCE to work only for that computer.
I've never seen that happen. Particular on a clean install. Does NAV have full rights? A lot of times issues like these come from rights issues.
Did you try opening an call with Symantec support? I've found them to be helpful in the past (if you get the right person)? =============
