Hello Everyone!!

I was wondering if anyone could give me some information on Panasonic Toughbooks, our company has an employee who has been having a lot of problems with the durability of their laptop. The employee has been pushing for the purchase of a more durable industrial laptop. I have done some research on Panasonic laptops because I am unfamiliar with the Panasonic and the reliablity of their computers, I didn't even know that Panasonic dealt with computers. I though I would ask you guys and see if anyone had any insight on the matter. The employee does not work in an industrial setting by any means there is a lot of traveling involved and great reliability on the laptop operating properly. But I feel that if you take proper care of you're laptop then needing one as durable as the Panasonic Toughbook should not even come up. If anyone has any cost comparisons or have personnally used or own one I would greatly appreciate any input you would like to share.

Thank you very much for your time and knowledge!

Panasonic used to make a Pentium 166 Notebook with a metal case, worked good in military-type environments. Something newer but similar may be what is needed. Some people aren't too careful with equipment that is not owned by them personally.

I have a panasonic cordless phone. Had some cheaply designed parts in my opinion. If you want a rugged notebook then check out Itronix.
