Palmvnc 1.40 cannot get connected to vnc server

Hi there,
Has anyone test palmvnc 1.40 to access a "windows 95/2000" with vnc service installed (port "Auto")? I got prompt unable to connect 202.xxx.xxx.xxx:5900 in palm (accessing through internet). I am unable to change port to 59xx/58xx on the palm. I do not have a firewall. I am able to access the vnc server from a pc. Please advise.
